Subject: Town of Abingdon Public Safety Radio System RFP The following addendum becomes a part of the above referenced RFP. All other terms and
conditions remain in effect, unchanged.
Vendors are directed to include, in the Cost Proposal for the System, the wording that the installation of the Motorola Mototrbo XPR 8300 Repeater will include all of the necessary equipment for the installation and successful operation of the repeater in the current and proposed system.

Subject: Town of Abingdon Public Safety Radio System RFP The following addendum becomes a part of the above referenced RFP. All other terms and
conditions remain in effect, unchanged.
Vendors are directed to include, in the Cost Proposal for the Dispatch, the wording that the installation of dispatch equipment will include the installation at the current dispatch location and at the future dispatch location. The current Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office dispatch location is located at 250 West Valley Street, Abingdon, Virginia and the future dispatch location will be at the Washington County Public Safety Building located at 20281 Rustic Lane, Abingdon Virginia. Each vendor is asked to separate the cost of these two installations.

Question
- In order to provide accurate pricing in regards to the Dispatch equipment and labor would it be possible to look at the location that the radios and equipment will be placed?
Answer
- To make things a bit more simple, we will offer a site visit to all vendors on March 22, 2010. Vendors are requested to meet at the Washington County Public Safety Building located at 20281 Rustic Lane, Abingdon Virginia 24210 at 10:00 a.m. Vendors will not be required to attend the site visit to submit a proposal for this bid.
Question
- In regards to the maintenance agreement it states that all current and future equipment included. Does that include the rolling stock as well. Can you expand on what future Mototrbo equipment you intend to have covered.
Answer
- All future and current Mototrbo equipment will include the current town of Abingdon Mototrbo equipment and the Mototrbo equipment this has been requested in this bid.
